Ms. Engles’ advanced art and digital photography students are winning serious awards! Congratulations to Lauren Reaves, Curtis Milligan, and Harrison Copeland.
Lauren earned 1st place 11th grade, graphite portrait, for her work titled “Jade Pearl.”
Curtis Milligan earned 2nd place 12th grade, graphite drawing, for his still life setup from his desk, titled “A Busy Day.”
Harrison Copeland juried into the show with his photo of a WWII plane. Harrison took the photo on the ground but makes viewers feel like they are up in the sky with the pilot.
Over 100 of the region’s top works of art from middle and high school students are on display until February 22nd. This annual competition is hosted by the West Tennessee Regional Art Center in Humboldt. Congratulations to the Adamsville High School students who were juried into this impressive show and were awarded with top prizes.
