Art historians (and historians in general) believe that where we've been is just as important as where we're going. In Ms. Engle's art classes, her advanced students are utilizing modern painting techniques like pouring and dripping to recreate classic works of art. We believe the students' works are impressive on their own, but get this: they weren't allowed to use a brush! The artists could only use gravity and a toothpick to create these paintings. Here's to reinventing the classics!
