We are glad to have our students back in the building, and we wanted to make sure we celebrated our seniors' achievements as soon as we got back!
Today we awarded seniors who increased their ACT scores by at least one point by giving them a custom keychain made by our CTE department. Then we gave out custom shirts based on the overall score for students who scored a 21 or higher.
Mr. Killingsworth also awarded students for perfect attendance. We have multiple students in each grade that have not missed a day of school so far, and we drew a winner from each group to receive an Adamsville hoodie.
Finally, we had one more drawing. For each time a student was recognized today, his or her name was placed in a bucket. Mr. Killingsworth drew one name, and that student won a $100 gift card!
We appreciated the support of the student body as we recognized these students for their accomplishments, and we hope to give away even more shirts and prizes next time! Keep up the good work!
