Every five years, schools in McNairy County undergo an accreditation process through an organization now known as Cognia. This year, AHS has worked with Cognia to ensure that we are doing the best we can to make Adamsville High a place where students, faculty, and staff want to be. As part of our Cognia presentation, the AHS A/V class put together a video overview of our campus. The video we are sharing with the public is an extended version that we believe showcases what we are doing to achieve our goals for our students every single day. We appreciate the hard work of the A/V class, as well as everyone involved in the making of this video.

welcome to Enzo high school we currently have 440 students enrolled we serve grades 9 through 12 in an atmosphere of the biggest little town in Tennessee follow us inside and we'll show you all the things we have to offer I'm in program in the state of Tennessee won the state championship Teen Titan and place top 10 and countless others musically learn how to play an instrument gets caught me leadership countability and that I'm not going in the world just clueless I have some sort of idea of what to do and the directors are great they help us in more than just music they help us sometimes don't help us with colleges or just talk to us about life they're great teachers and I'm very fortunate and blessed to be a part of the school district and every day over mine do that because of the students in high get to work with free amazing and their commitment they show the same love and respect and admiration for their teachers and make a pretty special assessment part stop in Thompson he is a very selfless man and he does deserve a lot of respect and he's so caring and he gives gives gives and he never asked and he is one of the most amazing people I've ever met kid helps people want to come here it's not just so I'm going to bed and it oh well I'm going to see my family it's definitely a second home for a lot of students or students and teachers in this program are dedicated and put forth hundreds of hours each year to prepare for competitions and concerts Albert art students Austin Pritchett a Ematic classroom but also and bettering our school their work can be seen all over the campus and even at Our Town Elementary School sing our kid teaches me a lot of useful skills that help me with both academics and relaxed it has helped me to keep pushing to whatever I'm doing and I'm doing a painting I tend to want to focus on one area instead of the entire picture and when your painting you can't really do that cuz if you focus on one then you can throw off the balance of your entire painting and then life when you go through stuff you may be looking at the small picture when in reality you need to look at the bigger picture A Chorus group that performance multiple times throughout the year in the fall our show the greatest show with standing-room-only and we're currently working on our spring musical teen recycle one person that has inspired me in the past 4 years of my high school career would have to be Pam Gladys not only is she just my chorus teacher she is also a role model for many different aspects of life and she help me more than she probably knows basketball golf soccer tennis Facebook softball track and cross-country team and last year we added a fishing team to our Athletics lineup we're well over 100 students who participate in sports in some way over the last few years our teams have won district and Regional champion tips and several spots are really close and we've got a really good pain so they've also Advanced deeply into the playoffs softball baseball and track all participated in last year's state playoffs in Murfreesboro the Adamsville lady Cardinals soccer season we went into the season with little to no hoe because we had an entirely new team in all of that but we made it all the way to sub-state like we usually do and we defy the odds that everyone's looking down on us so now we're up there back again what I like most about a Jess is the staff the teachers and coaches but everyone they've helped me through a lot and I really that's a lot of score call sleeping babies and pushing away calculator calculator I think that all together it brings us to bring this together more honestly like it makes it makes it more like a family aspect and it really just helps it helps people stay connected and everything and like it kind of the guy just makes the school at all around letter B make the atmosphere better in case we have something to compete in and we have something we want to go in to get my dad what is here on campus and they're in Dish 120 available online all of our in-person classes are taught by faculty members who Provide support for these students participating in a moment has had a positive impact on me because I've been able to complete almost my first year of college for a completely free I feel like they really prepare me for college and with the work that we do is just a little bit different than high school work as little bit more challenging I really like that it a make the next level I probably doing the classes that will be the most beneficial for me in my future are probably English composition 1 and 2 and 3 calculus those are all dual enrollment courses that we offer through you see Martin and I really enjoy taking those classes because I develop a sense of self-worth and identity they'll be most beneficial be my doing drama classes because I feel like it's giving me a little start the college you know and I'll leave for part of the day to work so it's already kind of getting me a feel of what college life will be like another opportunity open to students is early release this is a time for seniors who are on track with a credit to leave campus early to either go work or take additional college courses we have over 30 seniors who participate in this and even had 19 senior graduate in December Michael is the early release program because I get to leave school early and still have time to study or no rest for a little bit before I have to go to work soon school I can leave school still get their credits and make a little extra money like in my case I had to help with my grandfather on the farm so it was his good I liked it a lot also have a CT prep classes for our Juniors and seniors this year's graduating class earned an average score of 19.9 on the senior ACT test which shows a 1.5 average gain from their junior year and is one of our high-scoring groups ever another acetate Justice argues of Court etiquette classes students can earn dual enrollment credits from the Tennessee College of Applied Technologies and can even earn CTE Industries certification schemes such as welding certified nursing as several other classes most beneficial toward my future or definitely revolve around anatomy and physiology Medical Therapeutics hoping to get into the physical therapy around when I cry what high school so should be very helpful and use daily opportunities to improve our campus such as completing a new baseball fence building a shed or cleaning up school grounds and eating pie CTE area classrooms is one of my biggest and my experience first year the classes that go to official to me and other students for our futures are any shop class specifically Jr.'s or welding construction or mechanics with when I work on cars he has bilmez I better person with my phone I'm going to school because it gets welding and carpentry and mechanic and measure really think that I can help you all the teachers that really have a few Dwyer really make sure you know what you're doing now, make sure you qualify to get a job and make money in the projects around the school we build a greenhouse House of used on a daily basis and other different things they use around the school for just vitamin c t e trying to help me it makes me respect my school more Interstate life the people and everything that what goes on here are focused at Adamsville high school is for it to not only be a place where students learn but also a place they want to be pep rally spirit days after school activities and interactive classes are all a part of school life teachers and staff also play a vital role in Saving Lives not only do they instruct but they also Mentor coach and carriage and nurture they make their classrooms feel like home and treat students like their own children this is Miss his majesty year teaching and she was selected as the teacher of the year for our school that is all the different schools you've worked at over the years what is something positive that sets a a Jetta parts probably the best thing about this school is dispensed of inclusiveness that I feel not just among the teachers but the students in the interactions between students and the teachers everybody can find a place here and what two different places here from The Vocational to the creative to the academic and it seems like there a spot for everyone to feel comfortable at the school and it shows and the lack of them conflict that we have here the ability to get along each other and the whitest teachers care about their students the way that students react to that and just that there's a sense of respect for everyone here that I've not always experienced in other schools at Danville High School we're committed to ensuring the success both while here and after graduation between academics c t e Athletics Fine Arts extracurricular activities and student life we hope that all who enter these doors feel welcome and a part of the Cardinal family
